A series of SC Plant ID Trainings has been scheduled to take place at 4 locations throughout SC, please plan to attend at least 1 event. Your trainers will be staff of Clemson Extension, the Longleaf Alliance and USFWS!! The goal of these trainings are to increase your knowledge of basic plant ID skills and to practice your techniques in the field. The more you can identify native plants in the field, the better you will be able to plan and evaluate practices like 386, 420 and 422.

The trainings are listed below:

Thursday, May 23 – Francis Marion National Forest USFS

Thursday, June 13 - Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge USFWS (previously May 30)

Thursday, September 26 – Molly's Rock Picnic Area, Sumter National Forest

Thursday,October 17 - Webb Center SCDNR

Each training is from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Registration is FREE, but please register early. Deadline to register for each training is 1-week prior!
